Dion is a legendary American singer and songwriter whose career began in the 1950s with the doo-wop group Dion and The Belmonts, and quickly soared with solo hits like “Runaround Sue” and “The Wanderer.” A true innovator, he helped define the first wave of rock ’n’ roll and remains creatively vital more than six decades later. Influenced by country, blues, R&B, and folk, Dion’s music reflects a lifelong passion for American roots traditions. He has been nominated for multiple Grammys, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and continues to collaborate with top artists (Paul Simon, Van Morrison, Bruce Springsteen, Joe Bonamassa, Eric Clapton, Susan Tedeschi and more), specifically on his last three projects Blues with Friends (2020), Stomping Grounds (2021), and Girl Friends (2024). Dion’s life and music remain a powerful testament to artistic evolution, resilience, and reinvention.
